Itinerary

Day 1Arrival

– Hotel check in.
– Evening walking tour in city center.

Day 2Yerevan – Tsakhadzor – Yerevan

– Tsakhkadzor a popular ski and health resort. In winter, the town becomes a major ski center in Armenia, Tsaghkadzor is translated from Armenian as “valley of flowers”. You can rent all necessary equipment to have a wonderful day of skiing. For those of you who are not skiing, there is a cable car to enjoy fascinating views on Teghenis Mountains and breathe fresh air of alpine mountains.
– Return to Yerevan in the evening.

Day 3Geghard Monastery – Garni temple – Yerevan – Tour in Yerevan

– Breakfast at the hotel.
– Visit to Geghard Monastery. Gegard monastery complex is a unique architectural construction in the Kotayk region of Armenia, listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is partly curved out of a mountain.
– One cannot come to Armenia and miss visiting Garni. The temple of Garni is the only pagan temple on listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
– Return to Yerevan.

Day 4Zvartnots Temple – Etchmiadzin- Yerevan – Ararat Brandy Factory – Parajanov Museum

– Breakfast at the hotel.
– Zvartnots temple is located near Yerevan, Vagharshapat (Echmiadzin). The temple the gem of medieval Armenian architecture.
– Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the Holy See of Armenian Apostolic church and one of the firstchurches in the world.
– Ararat Brandy Factory is the leading enterprise of Armenia for the production of alcoholic beverages. Its main brand name is Ararat. Walk around the ageing cellar and see how the brandy spirits are preserved, know who have nominal barrels and enjoy the delicate aroma of the cellar. Fulfill the experience in the tasting hall enjoying ndelicious Armenian brandy.
– Sergei Parajanov is one of the 20th century’s greatest masters of cinema. In the 1960s he made two masterpieces in a row: Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors (1964) and The Color of Pomegranates (1969). Both established him as a phenomenon with no analogy in the art world.
– Overnight in Yerevan.

– Checklout from the hotel and transfer to the airport
